Wonder of My Love

“We should simply develop an attitude of faith, hope and love . . . He isn't impressed so much with the dimensions of our work as with the love in which it is done . . . Many things are possible for the person who has hope. Even more is possible of the person who has faith. Still more is possible for the person who knows how to love. But everything is possible for the person who practices all three virtues.” (Practice of the Presence by Brother Lawrence)

1 Corinthians 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. John 15:14 Greater love has no one than this . . . that a man lay his life down for his friends. Christ overcame many things; they held no power over him because He knew and accepted who he was in God. He is perfect love and He loves us perfectly.

I love you – I love you – I love you I created you and I KNOW you

a knowing of you deeper than anyone on earth

I know ALL the days ordained for you

I formed you . . . I saw you in the secret place

As an earthly parent stares in wonder and awe of their newborn child,

Commenting on how aspects are so like their father

So I look at you with that same awe and wonder

Receive my love - Receive my love

It is true, unchanging, unfailing because

I AM true love

I never change

I never fail

The wonder of my love for you –

to share intimacy of relationship with you for all eternity
