The Love of My King

"Let me ravish (captivate) you with my love" words spoken by my King, the One I pay my allegiance to, the One I bow down to, the One I worship. May you be blessed as you read of His love for you, His beautiful daughter/son.

WHO IS THIS KING OF GLORY? (Psalm 24:6 & 8) that pursues me with his love, And haunts me with each hearing of His softly spoken words. HIS NAME IS JESUS, PRECIOUS JESUS - The Lord Almighty, the King of my heart - The King of glory - Who is this King of Glory . . . He's everything to me (from the song King of Glory by Third Day)

When was the last time, if ever, you thought about the meaning of King? Seriously, not a common concept here in America, but the question remains - we all bow down and worship someone or something as our King? Who or what reigns in your life, who or what is really on the throne?

KING: supreme; chief authority; perfect, omniscient, omnipotent being; One who reigns; sole and absolute ruler; having supreme rank, power, authority; utmost; potent; above all others.

"Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. Then the LORD will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign LORD will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south, and the LORD Almighty will shield them. The LORD their God will save them on that day as the flock of his people. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown. How attractive and beautiful they will be!" Zechariah 9:9, 14, 15a, 16,17a

There is great joy in knowing that your King comes to you, he pursues you and He wants to captivate you with His love. And if you let Him, if you choose Him . . . you will be consumed by Him and all that He is and all that He loves and all that He desires. He beckons you to come to Him and when you see Him as He truly is, you can't help but shed anything and everything that hinders your oneness with Him . . .

Come to the waters, You who thirst, and you’ll thirst no more

Love is here - Love is now - Love is pouring from His hands, from His brow
